This session will provide hands-on experience with Virtual Reality for those participants who bring a smartphone. Attendees will view a VR experience and learn how it was connected with collaborative learning activities in a sociology class. I will discuss the ways in which content knowledge and learning theory can be connected with VR to create a rich, innovative learning environment. Student feedback on their experiences will also be shared.
